Deal: Wenger Vieli advised Frutiger on its participation in Blumer Lehmann
Wenger Vieli advised Frutiger, one of Switzerland’s largest construction and real estate service providers with around 2,500 employees, on all Swiss legal matters. Frutiger acquired a 30% participation in Blumer Lehmann, a leading timber construction and timber industry company with more than 600 employees. A complete acquisition of all shares by Frutiger is planned by 2029.
The partnership brings together two long-standing, family-owned Swiss companies that share similar values and together count more than 150 years of entrepreneurial tradition. With this strategic step, Frutiger reconnects with its roots in timber construction while supporting the Lehmann family in its succession planning.
The team was led by Beat Speck (Partner, Corporate/M&A) and included Dominik Rietiker (Senior Associate, Corporate/M&A), Michael Tschudin (Partner, Competition), Janica Wyss (Associate, Competition), Claudia Keller, (Partner, IP/ICT), Sabine Taxer (Senior Associate, Employment), Nadine Grüter (Associate, Real Estate) and Dominique Roos (Senior Associate, Regulatory).
