Thomas Steiner joins Wenger Vieli as Counsel

Thomas Steiner joins Wenger Vieli as Counsel. He strengthens the firm’s antitrust and competition practice while reinforcing its data, privacy, media and technology practice.

Thomas advises clients where law, business and technology intersect. His practice focuses on antitrust and competition law as well as data and privacy law. A thorough understanding of digital business models and technology informs his legal advice.

Thomas studied law at the University of Lucerne, graduating with an MLaw and a Dr. iur. He also earned an LL.M. in Law & Technology from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. Before joining Wenger Vieli, he practiced at business law firms in Zurich, worked as a Visiting Foreign Associate in Washington, D.C., and gained in-house experience as Legal Counsel at a major Swiss bank. He is also co-editor of the Online Commentary on the Federal Data Protection Act.
